Amsterdam Hospital agrees on $9 million contract renewal with iSOFT

Sydney – Thursday, 16 April 2009 – IBA Health Group Limited (ASX: IBA) – Australia's largest listed health information technology company today announced that its iSOFT European business agreed to renew a contract with Academic Medical Centre (AMC) in the Netherlands, worth $9.1 million (€5million). AMC, a major teaching hospital in Amsterdam, agreed to renew its contract for iSOFT’s patient administration, patient care and patient logistics systems for a further three years. The contract includes licenses, maintenance and support. AMC is part of the University of Amsterdam and one of the country’s largest hospitals. AMC has more than 1,000 beds and admits 25,000 patients a year.
Gary Cohen, IBA’s Executive Chairman and CEO, said: “This deal with AMC, together with similar agreements with hospitals in Rotterdam, Leiden and Friesland earlier this year, demonstrates the strength of the iSOFT brand in the Netherlands. These deals are a testimony to the commitment of our team in Holland, who have worked hard to enhance our relationships with our European customers.”
